In Leamington town, Migrating Monarchs ROOSTING on Queen Anne's Lace in clover field. These monarchs are not nectaring. Daily over the past 2 weeks monarchs have been seen nectaring on the clover. Clinging to Queen Anne's Lace all facing north into the wind. North wind not always favourable! Clustering in 2's & 3's & individually. We are aware they have been holding on tight since at least 3:10pm 9/21.
Strong wind 9/21 & rain showers, extreme wind & flooding rain 9/22 continuing into 9/23 with both wind & rain decreased from 9/22. 9/24 will be favourable weather for them to be on their way. Numbers reduced from 39- 9/21 (mix of those nectaring on clover) to 10.

No monarchs/clusters seen in trees Pristine 200'+ away to the west of clover field.
All perfect specimens. Pristine!
