Just a few lingering ruby throated hummers today. But I'll take 3 over none anytime
Continuing nice weather is drawing them away. I don't have much hope for an October sighting now unless there are more stragglers coming our way. Most feeding has been at nectar feeders later in the day. Earlier in the day I suspect they are hunting insects. Lots of perching going on. Last ruby throat left a nectar feeder at 7:19.
If this happens to be my last report Goodbye little hummers. Safe travels and see you next year!
