Monarch Waystation #271 reports several larvae and one pupa found about 2 pm today. Two 5th instar caterpillars were seen feeding on Purple milkweed in the front yard. The photo shows a new chrysalis found on a tiny plastic fence I placed around my water meter access plate in the front yard. Another 5th instar caterpillar was found feeding on a Swamp milkweed in the backyard near the heat pump.
