Between 11 & 5 pm observed monarchs arriving from the north & continuing south through our property which leads directly to Point Pelee National Park. Most stopped to nectar on our New England Asters, white Asters & False Sunflowers.
Counted about 12 throughout the day but was not watching continuously other than observing & taking photos of those nectaring.
One did settle for some time on our sycamore. He had a piece cut from right topwing.
All others pristine.
