Ruby throated hummers are still streaming from the north. Today 2 migrators joined the other two hummers that have been here a few days. They were doing lots of perching in between heavy nectar feeds. Nectaring was mostly at feeders and some at salvias and cigar flowers. It was pleasantly surprising to have 4 ruby throats to enjoy. Quitting time was a more normal 7:17 p.m.
