Spotted several at dusk settling into the walnut, oak and hickory trees for the night.

Not sure when they showed up, just noticed them on Saturday. It looks like they were only here overnight. As soon as the sun hit their wings, they began to head west.
We have a few zinnias, mums, verbena and marigolds blooming in our yard. The field aster and thistles are prolific in the pastures.
Not sure of the wind direction but the overnight low was around 60 degrees.
The black walnut is not shielded from the wind but the pin oak and shagbark hickory are in a tall stand of trees that seem to provide some reprieve from the wind.
We counted 12 but there could have been more.
They were too high to get any reasonably focused pictures.
