1 p.m. walk around the property and started noticing monarchs flying around the wind break. winds are strong at 17 mph out of the southwest, temp 80F. We got to the inside corner of the windbreak and were gifted with a sight of an estimated 100 Monarchs taking shelter and resting. Winds are strong enough they have chosen to rest here this afternoon. Will go out tonight to see if/how many choose to roost here.
