steady flow of northern flickers along the rivers edge woods. perhaps 4-5per 30 minutes. ALSO 2 RED Headed woodpeckers. Only a few swallows still in area. Hawk migration in also evident. Merlin, broad winged hawk, a flock of perhaps 30 killdeer descended into pasture 30' before sunset. Was fortunate to see a juvenile accipiter with a small bird kill.
