An early morning steady ribbon of hundreds of blackbirds from ENE to the SW progressed 30' after sunrise for at least 45'. with stragglers for another period. Amazing!
Bluejay groups also evident( 10-12 to 25+) from north to south for most of the 7:30-10 am period stopping from groups of trees along the waterway to he next harassing hawks and crows along the way. HARRIER, broad wing hawk, accepters, sandhill cranes all observed. Frost on grass near Maple River yesterday pre dawn, 88* Fahrenheit this afternoon
