Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/26/2021

Number: 4

Started out with 4 ruby-throated hummers after thinking that all had left. The morning was quiet for awhile. Ended up with 3 at the end of the day. Lots and lots of perching today. But many nectar stops at feeders tended to be long. Almost no nectaring at flowers until quite near the end of evening. Quitting time was 7:08 which seemed kind of early. High temperature was in the low 80's with sunny skies. Was again pleasantly surprised that any hummers were still here. Hope to equal last year's last sighting of Sept. 29.
