After a close-up view the day before of a curious hummingbird, I had only one sighting on 9/26 -- a hummingbird taking a long drink from a feeder. There were, however, two incidents when I heard a buzz near my ear and was pretty sure that I had been approached closely (rather than just buzzed past). So I suspect that the curious hummingbird from 9/25 was still around through the day. With more than a dozen feeders and a half dozen patches of suitable flowers, it would be easy to miss seeing it.
