Point Pelee National Park at the Tip 4-7:30

20°c mostly sunny. SW wind at 28/37kmh daytime high 22° overnight low 18°
Arrived at shuttle stop around 4-5pm 2 clusters already established same place as day before on Hackberry/Virginia creeper vine.
Clusters also establishing on Hackberry trees across from entrance to Sparrow Field. Mated pair seen!
5-6pm further south at Tip Clusters established in interior on Grapevine in sheltered area & on Hackberry on east Beach (calm side) looking west.
Started out with 4-500 monarchs & then at 6:50pm suddenly a flurry of activitiy(same as evening prior) with more roosts being established.
Shuttle stop area increased from 2 Clusters to 6 different areas.
Sparrow Field's original cluster areas increased from 200 to 400.
They were as low as 12' & up high as 50+' but all sheltered areas & all on east side of trees of Hackberry, Mulberry, Hop, Oak & Grape & Virginia creeper vines & some bare branches.
All pristine with a few having small pieces missing from wings.
Observations by eye, binoculars, camera & clicker.
Coldfront late 9/27- North wind 9/28 should send then south.
None seen nectaring on nearby mostly senesced Goldenrod or other fresh asters.
