14:20 Arrived at the clover field near the south-west corner of Sherk and Oak Streets. Mostly sunny, 21°C with a moderate West wind. On the way I checked the previously reported roosts west of here along the Leamington Greenway and located 2 Monarchs on a Spruce, however it was evident that the grass cutters had been by.
The 49 Monarchs located on the Red Clover were intensely nectaring. It has become abundantly evident that this field has been a vital source of nourishment for this year’s migration through the area. Thank you once again to the landowner.

Time observing 40 minutes observations done with binoculars and the naked eye.
