I witnessed 12 Monarchs migrating south on the University of Kentucky campus. This was a span of time between 1:30 - 4:30PM EST. It was a breezy day, sunny and warm (81*). Only one had stopped to nectar at a waystation (in the photo). All the others were flying high. We seem to be having a boom over the last several days.
