I see monarchs in my yard daily on milkweed and other flowering plants. There are always 1-2 in my yard at almost any time during the day. But never more than a 2 at a time. We do not have any caterpillars today. But had caterpillars in August and early September. Currently one chrysallis that I know of but I'm sure they are around. Saw a monarch captured and eaten yesterday by a California Mantis.
