A whopping 190 individuals counted! A record nightly count since we began on 9/15/21. Most were in the inside of the north row of pine trees in our wind break. 80 of them were on the inside of the west row of pine trees. 1 was counted on an oak tree. Temp 76F. Winds calm. This is a single event as only 1 had been seen on the property this afternoon. Last nights roost took flight between 8:30-9:00 this morning. Nectar sources still available are lantana, phlox, aster, butterfly bush.
