Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/30/2021

Number: 2

Just had two more monarchs show up by the house, newly emerged. They were along side each other on the columbine growing in the rocks by the house. This spot is about 8 feet from the flower bed where they was a lot of milkweed. Before I could return with the camera on disappeared. The other was having difficulty climb up into the sun so I help her with a small stick to climb on, put her on a potted plant and put in the full sun. 77 degrees here now. No freezing temps for 10 days or more. Hope she flies high!!
