Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/30/2021

Number: 20

I personally identified 20 Monarch butterflies migrating south while walking around the University of Kentucky campus. I was able to figure out the high traffic areas for them today, which include the College of Law, Memorial Hall, Washington Avenue butterfly garden, Rose Street dead end loop area and right over Pav A bridge (heading south on Limestone Street). It's a warm day (81*), no wind, sunny. They were all flying very high today. I didn't witness any of them nectaring.
