The last two of our captive reared Monarchs were released at a Kindergarten class. This makes about 35 released this year. We lost 4 due to Parasites. Last year we had 0 released. the year before 250 so at least we had a better year. Finding that you have to get them off the plants and into an enclosure really early as they will not survive the other bugs and parasites.
