October sighting of ruby throated hummer. October sightings are a goal for us and a plus when it happens. I think this is an immature male and has been with us for 3-5 days. He was probably here on 9/28 and I didn't see it.

This picture was literally last few seconds of feeding as it left right after being photographed. He is so hyper-vigilant that I dared not try for a better and closer picture.

However this was very exciting!
