Point Pelee National Park before & at sunset at the Tip.
5:40-7:20pm Sunset 7:11

Upon arrival No clusters established.
Right at the Tip, in an hr observed about 25 monarchs arrive from the north & fly south along west shoreline toward the Tip. Many attempted to continue southwest across the lake. About 4 appeared to continue out of view using binoculars while others returned to shoreline trees.
6:45pm Seen from west path looking east clusters began being established, clusters of 2 then a cluster of about a dozen in their favourite Hackberry Tree east of Dangerous Currents sign. They basked in the sunshine on west side of the tree about 30'up.
All appeared pristine. 7:10 On way to shuttle stop area one arrived from thexwest , flew east past Tip Tower & continued east out of view.
Shuttle stop- No monarchs/clusters seen.
There is still some fresh goldenrod & plenty of recently bloomed asters.
SW wind continues through the weekend with rain in the forecast all day 10/3.
