We counted 12 Monarchs flying low (about 20 feet high) across our yard. They weren't flying in a group. Between 6:30 and 7:00 PM would see one every few minutes. They were all coming directly from the North and flying South.
10 of them flew into the woods across the road. Two roosted in a maple tree in our yard. There was no wind. It had been raining earlier in the day. The temperature overnight was 60-65 F.
