In the Adirondacks, I have seen no monarchs for a decade. There were 2 at my house one day and one monarch the next day, off-grid in the ADK forest.There is a lot of milkweed on back roads,but the road crews cut back the edges of the roads and the milkweed is gone. It is possible they are migrating.
