Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/02/2021

Number: 2

We still had at least 2 this morning and one was definitely our last remaining little female juvenile as she approached me closely as she always does. I don't know if the 2nd that I saw in chase with our juvenile female was our last remaining juvenile male or a traveler as I wasn't able to see him up close. They were definitely zipping around chasing one another this morning.

We left at about 9:30am this morning for a quick weekend trip and will return Monday early afternoon. I will miss my two little juveniles while I'm away and am very much looking forward to returning home to see if they are still there or if they have started their journey.

I sure will miss my hummers this winter. It's been such an incredible hummingbird season this year. They are a special blessing.
