Still seeing an immature male ruby throat that I believe has been here several days. This morning he was nectaring at annual salvias and cigar flowers. Early in the afternoon he stopped at the feeder I hung from a camping tripod for lanterns. The picture attached is the feeder set up. Unfortunately we didn't get a photo of the hummer nectaring at this feeder. I attached it just for the humor of it. Later in the afternoon the hummer fed at a different feeder and sipped rainwater off plant leaves. This is 2nd time seeing this behavior this season.
