I took my 2 mile walk to town and saw no monarchs at 5 locations I monitor between 3 PM and 4:15 PM after the drizzle subsided under very overcast skies. The sun tried to come as I went to the beach along the Lake Huron shore at Harrisville State Park. At 4:20 PM, I saw a monarch 20' above the beach flying south. I stayed to 5:30 PM, and saw no more monarchs migrating. At my house, I saw no monarchs in my flower gardens to 6:45 PM. Weather was overcast with the Wind NNE-13 mph. The Temperature topped out at 62F. I phoned my friend (Larry), and he has not observed any monarchs the last two days.
