I saw 8 adult butterflies on a bush just outside of Missouri State University. The bush was either lavender or lilac, I'm not sure which. The butterflies seemed to be eating/drinking from the flowers. There were also bees. The bush is next to a sidewalk which goes along Grand Street. It's pretty close to the road, but traffic is light to moderate.
