We have had only two to three Hummers per day since Sep 22. Mostly juveniles, male and female. They have obviously staked out a feeder and are fattening up for the big trip. One day When one left the feeder, it took off in a Southerly direction, climbing at about a 30 degree angle, until it was no longer visible. I suppose it was gaining altitude for some serious traveling.
