At daybreak I sat out and saw 7 sub adult male rubythroats chasing all over. One so young could be a female. Same 2 sat on, went to small disk feeder at same time 7 a.m. like yesterday. They all then hit trees because we got down to 66 degrees to warm up in sun. One came in fast got to go to Deep purple skyscraoer before youngest chased out. They like potted yellow Hamelia, giant red inground Hamelia.
Will know more how many may have left tomorrow morning. Do see occasional chases at noon, and two going to feeders off and on.
Still unbelievable amount
here. Only had one female last year on Oct. 4th as Rufous was here then also. No sighted Rufous yet.
