Counted 35 monarchs on a 20 minute afternoon circuit of our property mostly heavy feeding on asters (sky-blue and New England) after the wind switched to the north. The next two days, October 4-5, I only counted 2 and 1 monarchs on the same circuit. The previous week I had counted between 15 and 32 monarchs.
