Our first graders at St. Lorenz Lutheran School in Frankenmuth, MI learn all about the life cycle of monarchs at the beginning of every school year. Students get to watch the metamorphosis of the monarch right before their eyes! After the monarchs are ready to fly, we tag the monarchs with special stickers and data that are provided by the Monarch Watch program. Then we wave good-bye and wish our migrating monarchs well, as they begin their long journey to Mexico!
