Walking along the trail in this area, we saw 11 Monarchs flying in for the evening to roost at approximately 7:00pm, temperature was 79 deg. F
no wind at the time of observation (but south wind earlier in day)

These were counted coming in and where mostly roosting on black willow trees. This is an area protected from the wind.
