Adult male nectaring on mist flower, Conoclinium coelestinum. I've conducted five surveys of monarchs at the Houston Arboretum since 9/27/21. This is the first one I've seen, so I'm fairly certain he is a migrant. I measured wing length and mass, then tagged and released.
