Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/06/2021

Number: 10

Temperature about 65 at the time about an hour before sunset, no wind and sunny.
A small group of Monarchs, probably moving through, were nectaring on Northern (New England) Blazing Star and others in the garden and red clover in the yard.
This was the second decent weather day above 60 degrees in about a week or cooler, sometimes rainy, and cloudy which the Monarchs probably couldn’t really fly and keep migrating.
