Temperature was warmer than normal (started at 90 deg. F)
Winds were out of west earlier in the day.
Monarchs were roosting in groups in the willow trees by water's edge. We have been watching this area all week. Biggest night so far! Tagged around 80 within an hour.

Found one that we had tagged the night before (so some may have stuck around an extra day)
