My last female vanished after Sept 25th, three days earlier than last year - a wise move, as the cold seems to be moving in quickly this year.

Odd year, as I was certain I saw juveniles midsummer, and by the time hyperphagia started, it appeared that I only had adult birds. Three remained into Sept, and I had to believe they were the juveniles, despite their appearances.
