Observed Monarch Butterflies on south side of Silver Creek on Lake Buchanan @ 6pm til dark @ 7:30pm alighting in enscarpment live oak trees across several properties - could not find a cluster larger than ten - but there were at least 3 different areas where they were landing for the evening. I counted over 25 - but let's hope the PEAK is just starting - I've seen more here in previous years.
