I saw a monarch in my garden which is full of zinnias. The monarch was not nectaring however.
It would sit quietly on plants for more than a minute. After it sat on the dried up seed pods of a milkweed plant I went over and checked it out.
I am fairly sure that is an egg. What do you think?
