After leaving the site by the chat trail, we moved over to what we call the "honey hole".
Monarchs were roosting in the willows in fairly large numbers. We were able to pick them off the trees there were so many (for tagging).
Temperature was 86 deg. F (above average for this time of year)
Winds were still blowing from SSE at around 15mph, but were calming down.
Earlier in the day, I observed Monarchs flying south.
