Looking out my office window at the front garden, I spotted this monarch nectaring. Luckily, I was able to capture a few good pictures before he flew away to gather more food.
On a side note, I have three chrysalises starting to darken today. They're my last monarchs of the season. It'll be a bittersweet party as I bid farewell to my summer friends tomorrow, #s 390-392. My lifetime count is over 1,500. I love the monarchs!
By the way, the feeding monarch is not one of mine. It's been too many days since my last release.
