I thought the one we saw Thursday was the last one this late in the season. This monarch proved me wrong sipping nectar on a 70 degree mostly sunny day now with winds slightly out of the east from 5 to 10 mph while enjoying our zowie zinnias and Mexican sunflowers that keep adding new blooms late in the season as well.
