October 1st was the last day we've had any at the feeders. We had approximately 25 hummingbirds this year. At least 10 were juveniles. They drank a total of 5 gallons of food I make. I already miss them. I'm leaving up my feeders in hopes of seeing some passing through so they'll have enough energy to fly further south. We've had more juveniles this year than ever before. Love watching them when it rained. They drink from my hand and will sit on my shoulder .
