There were three monarchs nectaring on the goldenrod in the yard this afternoon.

This is day four of 1-3 monarchs spending their afternoons on the goldenrod. I noticed they seem to prefer the 18' x 9' bed of tall Canada goldenrod. I have not seen them visit the three smaller beds of it, and I have not seen them visit the much shorter wrinkleleaf goldenrod.
