Two female adult hummers and 1 juvenile female hummer seen at our feeders this day. Daily seen hummer numbers have dropped rapidly from three days ago as the last two days temperatures have only been in the mid 60 degree range and overnight temperatures were in the 40 degree range, with daily showers. October 4, 2021 temperatures were in the 77 degree range with scattered showers forecast for the next four days, so I expect this may be the last of our regular season visitors. The three hummers I seen all at once today appear to be the last of my regulars based on times of the day they were at the feeders and how they appeared very acclimated to my presence near them. This would be about the usual time all our regulars have departed in the past years.
