I work at an office that is located directly across from the beach. Over the last few days we have seen a MAJOR increase in the number of adult monarchs. This morning, October 12, a coworker and I were standing outside and we couldn't help but to notice ALL the butterflies. Our office faces SOUTH and they were all flying from West to East. It was like one after another after another. They fly in groups of 2-5 or solo. We can sit in our office and look outside and it's guaranteed you'll see one. They are everywhere on the Florida Panhandle. They're beautiful. I haven't seen any stopped or resting. I only see them flying.
