As I was afraid they might not survive low nighttime temperatures, I brought the remaining caterpillars indoors. Since then, we have had amazingly warm weather, they have gone into chrysalides, and show no signs of eclosing.
If they are not on their way soon, they won't survive as reduced food sources and low nighttime temperatures will spell disaster.
