I rescued a Chrysalis a few days ago
It had attached to a clay face. I took the face in thinking better save the chrysalis from some bird. It enclosed and was healthy. I released it today hopefully he will make it to Mexico.

I still see a few monarchs daily on my butterfly bushes.
