As amazing as it seems to me that a Monarch would be migrating this late in the season, a friend and trusted Monarch spotter saw this Monarch and took this photo to prove it. Lucky for the Monarch, it happened upon this flower in the garden of another friend who has planted pollinator gardens over the years for butterflies and bees.
