This is a follow-up photo to my Monarch Adult Sighted report. This is one of the 4 female monarchs seen today at 1:30pm. She is nectaring on flowering Slim milkweed (Asclepias linearis). She ignored the other nectar plants and instead found these tiny blossoms on Slim milkweed to be the perfect flavor/hydration. They are hard to find, but as I followed her I now know we have more than I knew before!
