I'm installing a backyard landscape project and saw this beautiful monarch on a Asclepias curassavica plant. There is a total of 2 A. curassavica 'tropical' plants going in and 5 A. curassavica 'silky gold'. The butterfly was feeding from both varieties for over an hour.
